As president of The Midwest Dialysis Group, I was approached by an investment bank to join in a roll up of other dialysis companies for an initial public offering. Our controller was not experienced in dealing with the auditors and the Security and Exchange Commission. Due to rapid growth and other events our companies were in a liquidity crisis and we needed to take immediate action.
